Partnering Together

God designed us to need each other. So that no one would stand alone. He gave each of us giftings and anointing that are unique to us. Each one with a specific plan, and purpose. When these giftings and anointings are joined with other gifts and anointings the result is... the manifested love of God with signs following.

1 Corinthians 12:14-26 (NLT)

14 Yes, the body has many different parts, not just one part.

18 But our bodies have many parts, and God has put each part just where he wants it. 19 How strange a body would be if it had only one part! 20 Yes, there are many parts, but only one body. 21 The eye can never say to the hand, “I don’t need you.” The head can’t say to the feet, “I don’t need you.”

22 In fact, some parts of the body that seem weakest and least important are actually the most necessary.

25 This makes for harmony among the members, so that all the members care for each other. 26 If one part suffers, all the parts suffer with it, and if one part is honored, all the parts are glad.

As Paul so wonderfully puts above, when each unique part of the body comes together we can move togther and sucessfully advance the Kingdom of God.

I believe one of the greatest stories of parnership and the power of agreement in in the book of Daniel chapter 3:

16 Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego replied to him, “King Nebuchadnezzar, we do not need to defend ourselves before you in this matter. 17 If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God we serve is able to deliver us from it, and he will deliver us from Your Majesty’s hand. 18 But even if he does not, we want you to know, Your Majesty, that we will not serve your gods or worship the image of gold you have set up.”

Such conviction to stand up together agreeing about who their God is.

in verses 23-25 you can see the power of agreement.

23 these three men, firmly tied, fell into the blazing furnace.

24 Then King Nebuchadnezzar leaped to his feet in amazement and asked his advisers, “Weren’t there three men that we tied up and threw into the fire?”They replied, “Certainly, Your Majesty.”

25 He said, “Look! I see four men walking around in the fire, unbound and unharmed, and the fourth looks like a son of the gods.”

26 Nebuchadnezzar then approached the opening of the blazing furnace and shouted, “Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, servants of the Most High God, come out! Come here!”So Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego came out of the fire,

27 and the satraps, prefects, governors and royal advisers crowded around them. They saw that the fire had not harmed their bodies, nor was a hair of their heads singed; their robes were not scorched, and there was no smell of fire on them.

What was the outcome of this agreement? Not only were their life's saved but a king and his kingdom were changed and believed in God! Remember these were old covenant believers, not new covenat, blood bought, belivers like you and I. How much more can we expect from the power of our agreement?

Well, Jesus tells us In Matthew 18;18-20

18 “Truly I tell you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.

19 “Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. 20 For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.”

Take a close look at verse 20! Wow! Just like in the fire, the three of them agreed together, and there Jesus was with them in the midst!

Partnership is exactly what we just read, people of God agreeing to partner together to stand together for the gospel and for one another;

and there Jesus is in the midst of us!

At LIVN partnership is never based on money. It is belivers joining together for a common goal. To come into agreement with one another for Victory. Knowing that there is someone praying for you and standing with you in lifes storms and rejoicing with you over victories!
